Oh, the Places We Will Go on a Dr. Seuss La Jolla CATtravaganza!
Theodor Seuss Geisel (better known to his reading audience as Dr. Seuss) was a longtime La Jolla, CA resident. Yes, Dr. Seuss LOVED cats!
His house overlooked to the Pacific Ocean atop a hill called Mt. Soledad. There he painted and wrote many of his popular children’s books. His widow Audrey still lives La Jolla to this day.
